Murasaki Tsuyukusamon Kabin(紫露草文花瓶)
This is an Arita ware vase which Shomura-san has created.
He engraved the spiderworts design and filled paintings in it.
The vase looks like a pot, so it would be good to display it in the room.

Tsuyukusa means one day flower that blooms early in the morning and withers in the afternoon.
From spring to summer, purple patels open with receiving dew.
It is considered as a symbol of transiency.

Shomura-san is awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon for dedication to the pottery industry. He has a skilled dyeing technique based on the Arita ware craftsmanship.
