Japanese-made pottery
The title is Kohiki Sara (粉引皿).
This is a plate created by Okada Yasushi.
White colored clay slip applied to the body after he made shape.
We call the pattern cherry blossoms "sakura" or fireflies by regarding them as the season, because mottled pink dots are seen.
Height : 6.0 cm
Diameter : 27.5 cm
Yasushi-san has majored in sculpture at the Tokyo Zokei University. He grew up in the traditional Hagi ware pottery, then he simply creates a new trend in ceramic art.
