Sometsuke Takokarakusa Guinomi (染付タコ唐草ぐい呑)
This is an Arita ware cup which Takamori-san has created.
The word of "tako" means octopus in Japanese and they have eight legs.
Leaves are simply attached to the outside like spiral vine.
It just reminds us of the octopus's suckers.
We consider the picture also connects with the fortune.
And that's also known as the auspicious pattern.

He has learned pottery and colored porcelain at three places in Karatsu, Kyoto, and Arita. All process of works are made by hand between shaping with the pottery wheel, glazing and overglaze painting.
