Hakuji Roppo-Oshi Yunomi (白磁六方押湯呑)

This is the Arita ware crafted by NAKAO, Jun (中尾純).
Jun shaped the cup round on a potter’s wheel.
He scraped the surface and put scoops in the six places with the finger while clay was still soft.
Pouring green tea, it looks really great against high-quality white clay.
This is a set of two cups (2 pcs).
