Mutsuki Ginga Mizusashi Imogashira (睦月銀河水指 - 芋頭 - )

This is the galaxy glaze fresh water jar which Tetsuaki-san has created.
He made the shape by throwing the potter's wheel.

This fresh water pot is lighter than ones which other artists make.
Considering the weight when filled with water, Tetsuaki-san has designed with care for users.

Mutsuki-Ginga (睦月銀河)
Variety of colors like deep green, siver and brown.
There's an effect by diffuse reflection light.
It looks different when viewed under indoor and outdoor light.

Mizusashi (水指)
A fresh-water pot for tea ceremony.
It's one of the tea utensils called "o-chadougu".
It comes in a variety of shapes, cylindrical type is often used.

Comes with a lid.
Lid made of pottery : the same material as the main body called tomo-buta.
Lid made of urushi : a different material from the main body and is made of Japanense urushi called nuri-buta.

Mizusashi is used for the following purpose.
・Adding water to the tea kettle
・Cleaning tools and tea bowl.
