This is a cup created by Shomura Ken.
One-day flower that blooms early in the morning and withers in the afternoon.
It's transformed into hexagonal shape with the potter's wheel to make the surface thickly.
Adjusting the shape by a ceramic wire cutter, he engraved the spiderworts design and embedded the paints in it.
Signature desgin changes depending on when it's purchased.

Shomura-san is awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon for dedication to the pottery industry. He has a skilled dyeing technique based on the Arita ware craftsmanship.
