Kikka Fuka-sara (菊花深皿)
This is a Mikawachi ware plate which Satomi-san has created.
It's the reproduction of the work from the Taisho period (1912-1926), 20th century.
It's soft and thin finished.
The dish is suitable for boiled food, tossed food with spinach and sesame sauce .
Safe in the microwave, oven as well as dishwasher-safe.

Toshitaka-san is the eighth generation potter of the Kakusho-gama that has a history over 400 years. He makes plain blue painting of sometsuke by hand-painting that's exactly the characteristic of Mikawachi ware.
