Karatsu Chawan (唐津茶碗)
This is a Karatsu ware tea bowl which Yasunaga-san has created.
He made the shape by throwing the potter's wheel and the teabowl was fired in the climbing kiln.
The master of the ceremony invites guests and serves Japanese traditional tea called maccha into tea bowl.
It is the type of no waiste. Enjoy the part of soil that is visible on the foot.
