Japanese-made pottery
The title is Hakuhoyu Tokkuri (白鳳釉徳利).
This is a sake bottle created by Takemura Shigeo.
A unique glaze is used and that contains ash of grapevine which he grew.
The glaze has been shrinked in the kiln and that caused the vase to put a change.
Height : 11.5 cm
Width : 8.8 cm
Takemura-san is a ceramicist who engages in creative activities in Yamashina-ku, Kyoto prefecture. It’s interesting that color changes depending on settings, temperature and a part of plants, though same glaze is used.
