Japanese-made porcelain
The title is Saishoku Zogan Kaki (彩色象嵌花器).
This is a vase created by Nakao Yasuzumi.
The long neck with more than 20 centimeters is attached, it's not that big vase.
It's also useful to hold fine brushes.
Saishokoku zogan (彩色象嵌)
Yasuzumi-san has mastered inlay decoration's skill and has named "saishoku-zogan".
One day he wanted to creat something new apart from the Arita ware.
There are a wide variety of ceramic artists through all ages.
He just tried cutting soft soil to do something unusual.
While the ceramic is still soft, Yasuzumi-san uses a small knife to make cutting patterns and fill paints in them.
The design is targeted at original patterns that can't be made with a brush.
It takes a long-running time to complete.
