The title is Sotenyu Sakazuki (蒼天釉盃).
This is a sake cup created by Takemura Shigeo.
Sotenyu is the glaze made from the ash of loquat which he grew.
The blue decoration is the color that comes from the ingredients loquat has.

Width : 6.7 cm
Takemura-san is a ceramicist who engages in creative activities in Yamashina-ku, Kyoto prefecture. It’s interesting that color changes depending on settings, temperature and a part of plants, though same glaze is used.
