SUMMARY
・The family business is the ceramic industry with mass production designed for restaurant tableware.
・Sakai-san was inspired from works produced by Kato Kozo who is one of the greatest Mino ware potter.
・After graduated from the Ishoken, he trained under Kato about the pottery wheel-thrown work.
・He's always creating his own style about new Shino ware in terms of shape, color, a ceramic cracked pattern and a sense of tension.
・His arts are worth seeing of crack pattern called kairagi appeared on the surface in a firm shape.
