Dainichi Kiln
・Yotaro-san was born and grew up in Yamashina-ku, Kyoto prefecture.
・The Dainichi kiln is the pottery where Yotaro-san works. His farther, Shigeo-san is also a ceramist who opened that kiln.
・"Yudeisai" is the technique of decorating pottery which Yotaro-san named. After molding, he uses an air gun spray to paint in ceramics with colored slip.
Once being baked, the color is vibrant and similar to that of high-fired pottery, with soft colors and distinctive gradations.

He’s challenging to aim at a certain degree of perfection, even though there are aspects we are in the dark about results until being baked from the kiln.
・Each piece has different texture on the vessel. He’s gradually expanding some kind of color usage on red and black ceramics.
・Having grown up in the town for Kyoto ware production, he also pursues the aesthetic interest of modern style.
