Japanese-made porcelain
The title is Gosu Aka-e Akadama Sokamon Meshiwan (呉須赤絵赤玉草花文飯碗).
This is a bowl created by Takamori Seiji.
Meshiwan is a Japanese rice-bowl, whose mouth is wide to hold lots of rice and makes it easier for us to eat.
Takamori-san designed the red ball and the flowers in the frame.
The pattern is painted with vigorous brushworks.

Diameter : 11.6 cm
He has learned pottery and colored porcelain at three places in Karatsu, Kyoto, and Arita. All process of works are made by hand between shaping with the pottery wheel, glazing and overglaze painting.
