The title is Somenishiki Marumon Take-Umemon Meshiwan (染錦丸紋竹梅文飯碗).
This is a bowl created by Takamori Seiji.
Meshiwan is a Japanese rice-bowl, whose mouth is wide to hold lots of rice and makes it easier for us to eat.
The pattern of plum is painted in a round frame in underglaze blue.
The bamboo and the pine is painted with overglaze enamel.
Those two designs are combined and we won't get sick of that pattern.
The pattern is suitable for the celebration.

He has learned pottery and colored porcelain at three places in Karatsu, Kyoto, and Arita. All process of works are made by hand between shaping with the pottery wheel, glazing and overglaze painting.
