The title is Sometsuke Kikkomon Meshiwan (染付亀甲文飯碗).
This is a bowl created by Takamori Seiji.
Meshiwan is a Japanese rice-bowl, whose mouth is wide to hold lots of rice and makes it easier for us to eat.
The hexagonal pattern which is the auspicious design, the pine tree design,
Takamori-san painted those two designs in underglaze blue.

Diameter : 11.4 cm
He has learned pottery and colored porcelain at three places in Karatsu, Kyoto, and Arita. All process of works are made by hand between shaping with the pottery wheel, glazing and overglaze painting.
