This is a sake cup created by Takamori Seiji.
He painted the traditional treasury design in the plum-shaped frame.
The semicircular repeated waves pattern is also painted in the background.

He has learned pottery and colored porcelain at three places in Karatsu, Kyoto, and Arita. All process of works are made by hand between shaping with the pottery wheel, glazing and overglaze painting.
