Yuzogan Mizusashi (釉象嵌水指)
This is the ceramic crafted by ONO, Takaharu (小野隆治).
A bunch of light green lines extending from top to bottom,
which reminds us of the bamboo.
Yuzogan means inlay by the glaze.
He engraved the surface painted matted glaze and embed bright celadon glaze into it.
The pot of weight is more than 1.5 kilograms.

Mizusashi (水指)
A fresh-water pot for tea ceremony.
It's one of the tea utensils called "o-chadougu".
It comes in a variety of shapes, cylindrical type is often used.
Comes with a lid.
Lid made of pottery : the same material as the main body called tomo-buta.
Lid made of urushi : a different material from the main body and is made of Japanense urushi called nuri-buta.
Mizusashi is used for the following purpose.
・Adding water to the tea kettle
・Cleaning tools and tea bowl.
