This is a cup created by Shomura Ken.
One-day flower that blooms early in the morning and withers in the afternoon.
It's transformed into hexagonal shape with the potter's wheel to make the surface thickly.
Adjusting the shape by a ceramic wire cutter, he engraved the spiderworts design and embedded the paints in it.
Signature desgin changes depending on when it's purchased.

Shomura-san is awarded the Japanese Medal with Yellow Ribbon for contribution to the ceramics world. Glaze melted together in the kiln leads to making a fantastic color.
