The title is Itazukuri Hanaire (板作り花入).
This is a vase created by Mori Yasushi.
It was loaded into a climbing kiln, and then was fired up.
He stretched the clay to make a vase.
Three places are pushed to make it stand out.
It became black carbonized with fallen ash that was made out of spilt log of red pine at the lower part.
Height : 19.8 cm
Diameter : 16.0 cm
It's been over fifty years since he started making Bizen-yaki. He thought up the idea of a twice baking method to bring out a changeable black color.
