Japanese-made pottery
The title is Yuteki Tenmoku Guinomi (油滴天目釉ぐい吞).
This is a sake cup created by Takemura Shigeo.
He uses the glaze called "gantesu doseki", it's soil with rich iron.
The spotted black color comes out in the kiln and that caused the cup to make a change.
Height : 4 cm
Width : 8 cm
Takemura-san is a ceramicist who engages in creative activities in Yamashina-ku, Kyoto prefecture. It’s interesting that color changes depending on settings, temperature and a part of plants, though same glaze is used.
