Japanese-made porcelain
The title is Washizome Bokashimon Kaki (和紙染ぼかし文花器).
This is a vase created by Nakao Hidezumi.
He shaped the vase with throwing on a potter’s wheell.
Washizome-bokashi is the decorative skill obtained by controling the shade and gets to gradation dyeing.
Hidezumi-san attaches clay to traditional papers soaked by the blue pigments and finishes work in the quality color.
Height : 26.2 cm
Diameter : 8 cm
He cuts water-absorbent Japanese washi to the proper size, places the paper on unglazed pottery, and soaks it with cobalt blue color. The works affect us with a soft impression.
