The title is Beni Shino Koro (紅志野香炉).
This is an incense burner created by Sakai Hiroshi.
The strong reduction firing.
A small amount of iron inculding soil were turned light crimson color by the process of slow cooling.

It has occured to shrinkage of glaze after being fired in a kiln.
It's also called kannyu in Japanese.
That's anything but broken, certailny available.
Sakai-san wants users to see the tension that the pattern brings.

Sakai-san has learned ceramic a lot under Kato Kozo who is the living national treasure, setoguro. He creates a new type of Shino-yaki in his own individuality.
